I was introduced to Chris Burns via Evans Poston a number of years ago, when Chris was first launching Resolve Insurance in downtown Norfolk. He and Terri are the real deal: They work their butts off, respond quickly, uncover risks that Owen and I never would have considered, and diligently educate the underwriters to ensure we get the lowest rates possible. They have been invaluable to Northfield, especially as it relates to our two recent acquisitions.

While traveling out of the country over a holiday weekend, I received a late night text informing me my vessel was sinking at the dock. Mr. Burns, the President of Resolve Insurance Group responded immediately and was able to get a salvor on Easter morning, knowing I was out of the country with limited access. Mr. Burns meet the salvor at 730am on Easter morning and stayed with the vessel until the completion of raising of the vessel. I would never of expected the president of my insurance company to not only help me with this issue, but personally handle it himself.
